Haluk Celik from Feudenheim is the proud winner
This marks the 10th time the title “Hearing Care Professional of the Year” has been awarded. A dedicated hearing care professional from Feudenheim, near Mannheim, takes home this prestigious award from the hearing care industry. What did it take to win over the strict judges?
Listening Makes the Difference
Born with hearing loss, Tahani Osmann gained experience with hearing aids at an early age. When her hearing aids began to deteriorate in 1998, even visits to countless hearing care professionals failed to bring any improvement. Then she met Haluk Celik. He took the time to listen patiently as she described her recurring problems, and through active questioning and clear explanations, he built understanding and trust. Tahani Osmann was so thoroughly impressed by his helpfulness and creativity that, thanks to his consultation, she has regained a piece of her quality of life and no longer trusts anyone else with her hearing.
Will it be enough to win the European title?
In collaboration with the magazine *Audio Infos*, the European Hearing Instrument Manufacturers Association (EHIMA), and the European Federation of Hard of Hearing People (EFHOH), Hearing Care Professionals of the Year were honored not only in Germany. In Austria, France, and the Netherlands as well, the country’s best hearing care professionals received awards. The national winners will now compete against each other for the title of European Hearing Care Professional. Will Haluk Celik be able to accept this award as well at the 62nd International Hearing Care Professionals Congress in Nuremberg? We’re keeping our fingers crossed for him!
