According to a survey by KANTAR TNS, not only has the perception of hearing aids changed among people of all ages, but they also feel much better informed about topics such as hearing loss and related services

Innovative features of modern hearing aids promote acceptance

For those surveyed, modern hearing aids are clearly discreet (80%), comfortable (75%), flexible (78%), and high-tech devices (81%) that improve quality of life (87%). This perception increases with age. While 59 percent of 14- to 29-year-olds view hearing aids as high-tech devices, that figure rises to 93 percent among those over 60. Similar increases are seen for the other characteristics surveyed. Older people, in particular, appreciate the innovative features of modern hearing aids and are more familiar with the options available for hearing care.
